• His non-violence movement was partly responsible for gaining India’s Independence.

Poem

• I wrote a poem for the Centenary of the birth of “The Apostle of Non-violence”.
• It was published in the Working People’s Daily (WPD) on October 1, 1969.
• U Ko Lay (RUBC Gold, GBNF) was the Chief Editor of WPD.
• Daw Khin Swe Hla (GBNF) was Editor.
