• Phone Maw was struck by a stray bullet. He passed away.

Celebrations

• March 13 is observed as “Burma Human Rights Day” (e.g. in the City of Berkeley).
• March 13 is known as “Phone Maw & Soe Naing” Nay.
• Soon offerings are made in their memory.

2016

• RITAA was formed on March 13, 2016

2018
