Freddie Ba Hli, Dr.
- He received his Sc.D. in EE from MIT
- Served as Director General of UBARI (Union of Burma Applied Research Institute).
- Retired as Advisor at the Ministry of National Planning.
- Member of the UCC Advisory Board & external examiner at UCC.
- Father : U Ba Hli was the first native Dean of Engineering. Credited for proposing “Twinning Program” with prestigious US Universities.
- Spouse : Daw Myint Thwe (GBNF) is the sister of Sayas U Tin U and U Ba Than (GBNF)
- Daughter : Tin Tin Hlaing (ex-UCC)
- Son : Tha Hlaing (ex-UCC) stood Joint First with Ko Thaung Tin in EC83.
- Younger son : Min Thet Tun passed away in his mid-30s.
