I visited Yangon twice in 2012.
During my first visit, he hosted a welcome dinner at Feel restaurant to meet U Ohn Khine, Saya U Aung and several alumni. His son-in-law gave us a ride. He gave me an autographed copy of “Selected Cartoons from RIT Magazines and Set Hmu Thadinzin” and told me that a commemorative issue will be published by four (or more) generations of famous “RIT Cartoon Box” cartoonists (some who made to national and international fame).
During my second visit, he gave a ride to attend the SPZP-2012 Preparation Meeting.
He posted me via air mail some MES Technical Digests.
Despite having medical problems and several visits to ICU, he gave 100% for the success of RIT-related projects in general, and SPZP-2012 in particular.
U Khin Maung Myint (ChE71) and Daw Mai Khin Khin Nyunt (Rosie, ChE71) were among those who graduated from RIT in 1971. They shared the results published in Working People’s Daily.
In the early days, Mechanical Engineering Department had two sub-departments : Automobile Engineering and Agricultural Engineering.

U Win Htay (Walter, M70) lives in Southern California, USA) He is a cousin of Saya U Tun Shwe (M60).
U Win Aung (M70) was selected High School Luyechun at TTC Practicing School in the Summer of 1964. He served as Secretary of RIT Swimming & Water Polo.
U Soe Aung (M/Auto70) served as Secretary of RIT Ah Nu Pyinnya Ah Thin. He wrote articles for the Combined 1st BE Intake of 64 and 65.
