Pagan & Sagaing Roads had residence for senior sayas and sayamas of Rangoon University.

Richard Yu Khin

• Matriculated from MEHS in 1961. Also passed GCE.
• Represented RU and Burma in Yachting at 2nd SEAP Games. Won Gold with U Maung Maung Lwin.
• Left RU to study in the USA. Received Doctorate in Economics from Yale University.
• Passed away in Dallas, Texas.
• Elder sister (Dr. Marie) passed away in Australia.

U Thein Han

• Three daughters are Doctors.
• Dr. Khin Myo Han
• Dr. Khin Hla Han
• Dr. Khin Ohn Han

• Dr. Khin Myo Han published a book about her father U Thein Han (Zawgyi).

• The family members, Saya’s colleagues and students created “Zawgyi Prize” and “Ganda Lawka Thingaha Award”.
