Sai Kham Pan (EP69)


- Burma Selected for Badminton; Was No. (2) in Singles, and No. (1) in Doubles; Brought back “still good” shuttle cocks from the Training Camp for use by his hostel mates.
- Helped RIT win the Inter-Institute Badminton tournament.
Saya U Thein Lwin (EE, GBNF) was President of RIT Badminton Association.
Ko Myint Sein (M69) and Bishnu Shahi (EE69er) also played for RIT. - He worked for the government before running his own business in Taunggyi.
Sai Kyaw Myint (69er)
- Transferred from EE to Mining
Sai Kyaw Aye (69er)
- Left RIT before graduation.
- Worked for the Shan Language broadcasting at BBS.
Helped run a Shan Language course at RIT.
Sai Aik Yee (EE69er)
- Majored in Electrical Communications.
- Had hi-fi equipment (that was shared by his hostel mates)
- Has a medical problem.
Sai Thein Maung (64 Intake)

- Goalkeeper for the RIT Soccer team for all six years
- Won Gold medals for Track and Field at RIT and Inter-Institute tournaments
- Volunteer for the Combined 1st BE Intake of 64 and 65.
Sai Yee Laik (A68, GBNF)
- Saya U Myo Myint Sein mentioned him as unique : First and Last in the Class of A68.
- Joined the Faculty after graduation.
- Moved to Singapore.
- U Tin Htoon (A60) was architect for Burmese Buddhist Temple (BBT) in Singapore.
BBT was built by the company where Sai Yee Laik worked.
Sai Aung Thu Yein (EC74, UCC, GBNF)
- His father U Tun Myint was a signer of the Pinlon Agreement.
- Studied MS in Computer Science at UCC.
- Worked in Singapore before moving to Australia.
Notes :
- Sai is a prefix for the name of selected Shan males.
- Sao is used by the family members of Sawbwa.
Saya Sao Kan Gyi (Tony Mangrai) is a member of the Keng Tung Sawbwa’s family
