There were two friends named Win Pe.
One is Director Win Pe.
The other wrote critiques and poems with the pen name Maung Swan Yi.
I met both at the San Francisco Bay Area Talks and at the house of Saya Dr. Kyaw Tint (Physics).
Maung Swan Yi served as a member of the Curriculum Committee in Burma.
He completed a Diploma in Library Science.
He has published poems, critiques, essays and articles.
He is a Patron of Moe Ma Ka.
He is a contributor for Myanmar Gazette, and several publications in Japan and Myanmar.
