  • Passed away in UK from COVID-19 infection on April 13, 2020.
  • First doctor from Royal Berkshire Hospital to die in the line of duty treating patients.
  • About 30+ NHS doctors also succumbed to the “invisible enemy”.
  • Misguided Policies and Guidelines contributed to the loss of lives of front line health workers.
  • Family members, relatives, colleagues and friends mourn the loss of a dedicated medical doctor.
  • Condolences were received from the Queen’s office and the Royal College of Physicians.
  • I wrote the initial post on April 15, 2020 and updated almost daily till the end of May 2020.
  • He is being honored posthumously.
  • The Neurology Association has named “Peter Tun Award”.
  • The Royal College of Physicians informed his family that a Fellowship (FRCP) will be awarded to Dr. Peter Tun.
