His father Justice U Kyaw Myint headed the Tribunal. Justice U Aung Kyaw Tha and Session Judge U Si Bu were members.
U Saw and his followers assassinated Bogyoke Aung San, Thakin Mya, Deedok U Ba Cho, Mahn Ba Khaing, Sao San Tun (Mongpawn Sawbwa), U Ba Win, U Razak, U Ohn Maung and Ko Htwe on July 19, 1947.
There are unsolved mysteries.
Gun shots were fired at U Kyaw Myint’s house (during the case proceedings). Family members had to lie on the floor.
U Kin Oung (Australia, son of Police Chief who arrested U Saw & son-in-law of Insein Jail Chief / later Justice) wrote a series of books : “Who killed Aung San?” and “Eliminating the Elite”. BBC produced a documentary based on the books and the declassified documents (in UK).
