Saya U Thein Lwin (EE) is an alumnus of Lehigh University. He taught at RIT and Singapore Polytechnic. He was President of RIT Badminton Association. He is the older brother of U Myo Myint (ChE), U Kyi Lwin (George, C), U Tint Lwin (Daniel, M), U Thet Lwin (Henry, EE).

Sayama Daw May Than Nwe (Joyce, Physics) was Top in Physics Honors Class of 1962.

Both passed away in Singapore within a few months of each other.
