U Kin Maung Yin (A60) was a graduate from the Third Batch of Architects from Rangoon University along with U Aung Kyee Myint and U Tin Htoon.

He is an exponent of Modern Art. He and his fellow artists exhibited and sold their paintings.

He also directed two movies.

The first movie Hna Ma Let Shawt Nay Le Dawt was controversial for its presentation. It set a record as the movie with no Full House for the First Day First Show. Some foreigners showed interest and supposedly tried to buy the film.

U Tun Aung (EP70) volunteered as an assistant for the second movie. It was produced by Daw Khin Marlar (spouse of Collegian Nay Win).
