U Bo Gyi (A59) was a graduate from the Second Batch of Architects from Rangoon University along with Saya Dr. Lwin Aung.

He co-founded Architects Incorporated with U Aung Kyee Myint (A60) and U Tin Htoon (A60). Their office was frequented by U Kin Maung Yin (A60), U Paw Oo Thet, Director Win Pe and their friends (mostly artists).

The Three Amigos later closed AI and joined PWD.

He designed the Mausoleum for Daw Khin Kyi but was not appreciated by his bosses.

He retired and became a monk.

He was a pianist and an expert modeler.
