U Soe Myint (M72, UCC) retired as Pro-Rector of ICST.

One day he visited the Kaba Aye Sun Lun Gu Kyaung twice. He went back home to fetch offerings / donations.

His parents & the family members had supported Sayadaw U Vinaya and his meditation retreats from the early days.

He was known as Phone Gyi.

He also visited his nephew and niece who had medical problems.

Around 3 AM, he passed away unexpectedly.
