  • She retired from UN in New York.

  • She served as Editor for Hlyat Sit Sar Saung published by RIT Electrical Engineering Association.
  • Her short story was translated into English and published in the WPD (Working People’s Daily).
  • She blogged about her RIT & G Hall days and also published the book.
  • She loves “Ma Ma Wa Wa Hla Hla Hta Ka”

  • She is a bilingual author, poet, and vocalist

  • She lost three years when RIT closed for three years citing Security Concerns.
  • She is an organizer and fund raiser for SPZP, SDYF, Alumni Association, her class & group

  • Rosie Gyi served as Editor of Swel Daw Yeik Magazine.
    She and Rosy are volunteers for the Combined 1st BE Intake of 64 and 65.
    Saya U Khin Aung Kyi strongly advised her to accept Ko Khin Maung Myint (ChE71, volunteer teacher for female students)
  • Tin May Soe lost her older brothers Ko Myint Soe (C) and Ko Myat Soe (C)
  • Winnie is the younger sister of my classmate Win Maung (Lake), who represented RIT in Swimming, Water Polo and Rowing.
    Her spouse Ko Ohn Khine gave me rides to attend SPZP and HMEE meetings.
  • Don Min Ko Yu Swan (M68) and Emma hosted Pon Chan Chan gatherings.
    They also offered delicious food.
    Emma is a co-founder of Dana Sri Lanka (DSL) and Triple Gems Publication.
    She was a swimmer and Minthamee.
    She is a Mae Daw of young academic monks.
  • U Soe Aung (Janet’s father) was from the Class of 48.
    He was Chief Engineer at PWD.
  • Dr. Sann Oo (EP67) and Ma Than Yi served as Editors of Hlyat Sit Sar Saung.
    They share passion for writing and publishing.
    They reprinted the Science Fiction by Journal Kyaw Tint Swe (Ko Sann Oo’s father).
    They also published a Sci-Fi book by William (their grandson).
    They hosted a dinner for Saya U Soe Paing, Ko Ohn Khine and me at Kone Myint Tha.
    They gave a tour of their hospital to me and my spouse, and then hosted lunch at a Rakhine Sar Thauk Saing.
  • Rosy Tin Maung attended Computer courses at UCC.
    She performs at SPZPs.
  • Nan Khin Nwe and group also donated to hospitals and various charities.
    She and Mg Mar Ga are super fundraisers for RIT events, disaster relief and help for the needy.
