Htay Aung (M69)
- He represented Burma in Water Polo for the Fifth SEAP Games held in 1969.
His coach was U Mya Thee (former Burma Champion & SEAP Games Gold Medalist). - He was Secretary of the RIT Swimming Association.
Sayas U Sein Win, Dr. San Hla Aung and U Hla Myint (Charlie) served as President and/or Manager. - He represented RIT in Swimming and Water Polo.
He competed in 100m, 200m, 400m, 1500m (all Freestyle), relays and Inya Cross Lake.
He won many Gold Medals at RIT and the Inter-Institute Swimming Competitions.
Than Than
- She won 20+ Gold medals in International competitions
(SEAP Games, Asian Games). - She is a specialist in Sprint events :
100m, 200m and relays.
Notes
- Ko Htay Aung’s main competitor for the Sprint events was Dr. Lyn Aung Thet (IM1).
- Ko Htin Kyaw represented the Institute of Economics in Swimming, Water Polo and Rowing.
- Ma Than Than’s sister is the spouse of Ko Htay Aung’s brother.
