Sayadaw U Silananda passed away on August 13, 2005

Dhammanda Vihara and TBSA (Theravada Buddhist Society of America) remembered Sayadaw in August 2015. I read Sayadaw’s biography at the ceremony.

It really was a great Loss to Buddha Sasana especially in the West.
However, we are still fortunate to have his Dhamma Talks and Books available.
