1. Sayagyi U Kar
Sayagyi U Kar was born on 5/Apr/1894. He passed away on 21/May/1974 at the age of 81. Sayagyi is the father of Saya Dr. Tin Maung and Sayama Daw Thein.
2. Sayagyi U Aung Hla
Sayagyi U Aung Hla was born on 18/Apr/1896. He passed away on 13/Dec/1983 at the age of 88. Sayagyi is an accomplished musician, and annotated 25 Burmese songs using mathematics. His spouse Daw May Than was a nationally known singer. His son U Mya Than played the lead guitar.
3. Sayagyi U Po Thon
Sayagyi U Po Thon was born on 27/Jul/1899. He passed away on 23/Nov/1982 at the age of 84. Sayagyi supervised and/or published Mathematics texts for use in schools.
4. Sayagyi U Net
Sayagyi U Net was born on 15/Jan/1918. He passed away on 26/Feb/2003 at the age of 86. He is the father of Sayama Daw Khin Mar Mar who briefly attended RIT, but transferred to study Physics at MASU. Sayagyi is the grandfather of U Wunna Ko Ko, web master of second RIT web site. Wunna Ko heard three versions of why his mother went back to Mandalay. One from his mother, one from his father, and one from his grand mother.
5. Sayagyi U Ba Toke
Sayagyi U Ba Toke was born on 26/Dec/20. He is “Phwa Bet Taw” of “Rangoon University” and the “First Student Boycott” (which is celebrated as “Ah Myo Tha Aung Pwe Nay”). Sayagyi served as

- Rector, MASU
- Professor of Mathematics, RIT (after voluntarily transferring from MASU)
- Vice Chair of Mathematics, Assumption University (formerly ABAC).
Sayagyi was Mandalay University Soccer Selected, and Chinlon expert. Sayagyi led the Burmese/Myanmar Olympic team to Tokyo in 1964.
Sayagyi gave interviews (three C-90 tapes) and documents (4 files) to Saya Dr. Khin Maung Swe, (Maung Thin Char). The book was published in April 2010 to be distributed for Sayagyi’s 90th birthday.
