Foundation may stand for Base (e.g. foundation of a building).

It may be an organization to support a noble cause (e.g. Education)

“Four Foundations of Mindfulness” is a treatise for Meditation.

I was assigned as a volunteer to help the School library.

The SPHS Library received books from some Foundations (possibly Ford Foundation and Asia Foundation).

Provide Health Care (Hospitalization, Long term care, Frequent visits to Clinic, Annual Medical and Vision Check up) for eligible Sayas and Sayamas.

The balance of “Steeve and Helen Kay Medical Fund for RIT Sayas” was transferred to SDYF.

The balance of “U Khin Maung Tun & Family’s Vision Care Fund for RIT Sayas” was also transferred to SDYF.

Dr. Lay Kay (Steeve Kay’s sister who co-founded QTC) established the foundation in memory of her mother.

Activities include disaster relief in Myanmar and other countries.

Activities include providing Hospice Care for Cancer Patients

Steeve Kay (U Thaung Sein, EC70) established KFF

Activities include

  • Supporting research, development and training in selected fields
  • Funding the trip of the Myanmar Education Delegation to visit prestigious Universities and Research Institutions in California.
  • Providing the matching fund of $30000 for the RIT Alumni Reunion held in Los Angeles in 2015

Activities include Disaster Relief (e.g. for flooded areas)

Activities include offering scholarships for eligible YTU students studying EC (Electrical Communications / Electronics)

Set up by Dr. Than Sit, colleagues and supporters

Activities include promoting and sustaining Literary Works by giving out Awards; printing Dictionary
