Update : October 14, 2021
Ko Zaw Aung (EC84),
Thanks for your information. I got it from Grace. I have a word with his wife.
Ko Hla Tun graduated from RIT in 1971 with Electrical Power. He joined RIT from GTI and he was a scholar student. He was once head of the vocational technical school in Rangoon. He migrated to Singapore in 1992.
His wife Daw Murang Kha Taung is a civil engineer graduated from RIT in 1970. Kha Taung and myself are ex MEPE staff .
So sorry to hear the sad news.
Regards,
San San Mya (EP73)
Editor’s notes:
- Ma San San Mya organized EE gatherings in Singapore before she moved to UK.
- Outstanding GTI graduates were allowed to join RIT.
Ko Yin Sein (Caesar Yang, EE, SPHS, BBS) was one of the first GTI graduates to take advantage of the “GTI-RIT” bridge program.
Others include Ko Myint Soe (M79), Ko Kaung Kaung Oo (Gordon, M83), Ko Ko Zin (M84) and Ko Aung Myint Oo (EE84).
