Payeik Kyee Pali Theik Kha

“Payeik Kyi” is a collection of eleven Protective Verses.

“Pali” is the language of discourse in Theravada Buddhism

“Theik Kha” means Practice.

“Thamane Kyaw” is the pen name of Sayadaw U Dhammika, who won the prestigious award of “Thamane Kyaw” (Distinguished novice scholar) in his youth.

“Payeik Kyee” (Paritta Pali, or Protective Verses) is recited in part or full by monks, novices, and lay people.

This book discusses some Pali terms, phrases & grammar.

For a comprehensive treatment, refer to the epic work by “Thabyekan Sayadaw” and a treatise by U Jotalankara (Dhammanda Vihara, Half Moon Bay, California, USA).
