RIT Alumni International Newsletter for SPZP-2000

I served as Chief Editor of the commemorative issue of the RIT Alumni International Newsletter for SPZP-2000.

U Aung Myint (Henry, Chief Editor of BAPS Newsletter) and Saya U Thein Aung (James, Met72) served as Associate Editors.

My poem and article by Saya U Nyo Win

I wrote a poem “SAYA PUZAW PWE“. It was published on the special web pages on the ex-rit.org web site. It was also printed in the commemorative issue of the RIT Alumni International Newsletter for SPZP-2000.

Articles by Saya Allen and KMZ

Saya Allen Htay (C58, GBNF) wrote “Brother, Can you afford to spare US $500?”. U Khin Maung Zaw (EC76, KMZ) recounted the brief history of the RIT web site.

Profiles of Saya Dr. Aung Gyi and Saya U Khin Aung Kyi

Saya U Thein Aung (Met72) and team requested the attending Sayas to provide “Profiles”.
Saya Dr. Aung Gyi succeeded Saya U Yone Moe as Rector of RIT. Saya gave a key note speech at SPZP-2000.
Saya U Khin Aung Kyi succeeded Saya Dr. Aung Gyi. He paid respect to his sayas : U Num Kok and U Ba Toke.

Saya Dr. Freddie Ba Hli (GBNF) is the only child of Saya U Ba Hli, first native Dean of Engineering at the University of Rangoon. He taught part-time at EE Department while serving as Director General of UBARI. He became National Advisor at the Ministry of National Planning and a staunch supporter of the UCC project. He passed away in Sydney, Australia.
Per request of Saya U Aung Khin (former Professor of Mechanical Engineering), Saya Dr. F. Ba Hli wrote articles about his beloved father.
