I met Ko Tin Oo and Ko Kyaw Hlaing at the preparation meetings for the Yangon SPZPs.
After one meeting, they invited Ko Ohn Khine and me to join them for lunch at a Feel Restaurant. Ko Tin Oo paid for the lunch.
They are young entrepreneurs. More important, they are also enthusiastic supporters of the projects by Swel Daw Yeik Foundation and the Alumni Association.
Ko Tin Oo provided bags with “History of University Engineering Education in Burma/Myanmar” and other gifts at SPZP-2012. He has donated to SDYF and RITAA activities.
Ko Kyaw Hlaing provided “Real Coffee” at the SPZPs and at the meetings.
After another meeting, Ko Tin Oo gave me a ride to a restaurant where my nephew was hosting a birthday gathering for his daughter.
Ko Tin Oo’s Memory
Ko Tin Oo got hurt after a fall and was bed ridden. He temporarily forgot his name, but he uttered, “I have pledged to Ko Win Htain Oo for the YTU Libary Modernization Project, but I have not yet given him the money.”
Ko Tin Oo recovered.
In January 2019, he helped organize a talk by Dr. Aung Tun Thet.
