Saya U Aung Hla Tun (Met) won the National Literary Award.

Saya also served as Chief Editor of the RIT Annual Magazines.

Saya and his team compiled “History of University Engineering Education in Burma/Myanmar”.

With the help of Sayagyi U Ba Than and Saya U Thaw Kaung, Saya U Soe Paing and team collected artifacts from the Rangon University Central Library and prepared a draft version in English.

U Ohn Khine (M70) gave me a ride to the meetings held at Saya U Aung Hla Tun’s residence (Holy Cross Church on Inya Road).
