(1) Sayadaw U Wara (Win Paing, ChE 70)
He is the younger brother of Saya U Soe Paing (my mentor at RIT and UCC).
He entered monkhood at the Final Year examination.
He is now Chief Resident Sayadaw for Kaba Aye Sun Lun Gu Kyaung monastery.
He was a Taik Oke Sayadaw for about four decades under Sayadaw U Vinaya.
(2) Sayadaw U Jotika (EE 73)
He is a prolific writer and an outstanding Dhamma Lecturer.
He spent a vasa at Taung Pu Lu Kaba Aye monastery in Boulder Creek.
He revisited US about a decade ago.
He frequently visited Singapore and other neighboring countries.
(3) Seattle Sayadaw (M 91)
I met him when he accompanied his mentor (Sayadaw from Myanmar) in the San Francisco Bay Area.
(4) Sayadaw U Han Nyo (Met 60)
Sayadaw helped conduct meditation retreats in Southern California and Mexic0.
(5) Saya Dr. Lwin Aung (A 59)
Saya entered monk-hood after retirement. Saya served as Professor of Architecture and as Pro-Rector of YTU.
Sayadaw volunteers as a Consulting Architect for the construction of dhamma buildings.
(6) Sayadaw U Bo Gyi (A 59)
He was a partner of “Architect Incorporated”, which became a meeting place for artists such as Paw Oo Thet, Director U Win Pe and multi-talented U Khin Maung Yin (A60).
He later joined PWD along with his partners U Tin Htoon (A60) and U Aung Kyee Myint (A60).
He designed the Mausoleum for Daw Khin Kyi, and was shunned by the higher authorities.
His hobbies include music (piano), modeling (sculpture), …
(7) Sayadaw U Myo Tun (A 69)
He won prizes for essays under the name “Errol Than Tun”.
Sayadaw had made dhamma duta mission to Vietnam.
Sayadaw is a Dhamma Librarian for Moulmein Pa Auk Tawya Monastery.
Sayadaw edited some of Pa Auk Sayadaw’s books.
(8) Sayadaw U Aung Chaw (C 69, SPHS63)
Sayadaw resides in Sagaing.
Met him early this year when Sayadaw came down to Yangon.
Sayadaw attended some breakfast gatherings by the 69ers.
Kyaw Win (SPHS63) offered soon to Sayadaw at Shwe Ba Htamin Saing for his birthday, and also offered Nawakamma to Sayadaw.

Venerable Ashin Pannobhasa was born in April 1966 Thursday (2nd Waning day of Kason 1328 Myanmar Era) in Pyapon, Irrawaddy Division. After finishing his Mechanical Engineering degree from Yangon (Rangoon) Institute of Technology he received higher ordination as a Bhikkhu or a monk at the age of 24 in the Ordination Hall, Pyapon Mahasi Sasana Yeiktha under the preceptor of Venerable U Vannita, Pyapon Mahasi Sayadaw, Pyapon Mahasi Sasana Yeiktha on 27th July 1991.
